The Purple Line runs express during rush hour on weekdays. Express trains run from Howard to Belmont without stopping and then continue on to the loop via the Brown Line Tracks. (and vice versa)
From Linden to Loop: 5:20a - 9:30a, 2:25p - 6:30p
From Loop to Linden: 6:05a - 10:15a, 3:15p - 7:15p
The final train from Howard to Linden is 1:15a on weekdays, 2a on weekends (fri and sat)
It takes about 30 to go from Belmont to Howard. Plan your return times accordingly. If the trains have stopped running there is also the 201N bus that follows the L tracks, but it only runs once every 30 minutes.
